At Rejuvé, there are two options for patients who wish to remove stubborn belly fat without undergoing surgery: CoolSculpting and SculpSure.
How do they differ?
CoolSculpting is a non-surgical fat reduction treatment that uses a kind of technology that freezes fat cells and then allows the body to naturally eliminate the frozen fats. With SculpSure, the treatment uses a laser device that applies heat on the targeted fat cells to melt these. These melted fat cells will also be naturally eliminated by the body.
Both procedures target stubborn belly fats and fats on the flanks; and they also show optimal results several weeks after the procedure. To answer the question about how they differ, they basically just differ in the way that the fat cells are targeted; one freezes them and the other melts them.
But both have one common goal: to give you a smoother and sleeker abdomen and a shapelier body by reducing fats on your flanks.
Which one is right for you?
The decision of getting one treatment or the other cannot be determined by simply deciding which one you’d like choose: cooling technology or laser heat. Dr. Tang will need to see you first to determine whether CoolSculpting non-surgical fat reduction treatment is ideal for you or if SculpSure will be more effective at giving you your desired results.
In general, however, CoolSculpting is best for those who are within 1 to 20 pounds of their target weight.
Whichever is recommended for you, know that the treatment given you will give you the best results.
