After your doctor is done CoolSculpting on your stomach, they’ll likely recommend you start exercising after a few days’ rest—and there are excellent reasons why.
CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical, FDA-approved body contouring procedure using precision-controlled cooling to eradicate fat cells in the target area(s). Exercise helps shed dead fat cells so you can achieve desired results sooner rather than later. It even allows you to maintain those results so you can enjoy a slimmer, sexier stomach for years.
With that in mind, here are a few exercises you can do after your CoolSculpting for the stomach.
1. Crunches
Crunches strengthen your core and are great exercises after your CoolSculpting for the stomach.
There are many types of crunches you can do, the easiest being standing bicycle crunches. Stand up straight and relax your back. Spread your feet so they’re as wide as your hips and lock your hands behind your head. Then tighten your core and as you lift one knee towards the middle of your body, lower the opposite elbow towards the knee. Return to your default position and repeat the process for the opposite side. Five repetitions per side should do.
2. Sit-ups
After CoolSculpting, stomach muscles can be given a great workout through sit-ups.
First, lie down with your knees bent, your upper and lower back touching the ground, your feet flat on the floor, and your hands behind your head. Then, raise your torso as far as you can by bending your hips and waist while making sure your feet don’t lift off the ground. Lower your torso to the starting position. Repeat these motions for five, one-minute rounds, with 20 seconds of rest between each round.
3. Planks
The plank is an exceptional core exercise worth trying out after your surgeon is done CoolSculpting your stomach.
Keeping each elbow directly under each shoulder, lift your body so that your forearms are flat on the ground and parallel with the sides of your body, and the balls of your feet are touching the ground. Keep a straight, rigid line with your torso and legs, avoiding any bending from your ears down to your feet. Your ears must not sag beneath your shoulders. Your heels must be directly above the balls of your feet. Maintain this position for 10 seconds before relaxing.
For the best results after CoolSculpting for the stomach, your abdomen-toning routine should be accompanied by cardio exercises, weightlifting, and yoga.
