DiamondGlow Dermabrasion Treatment
Typically, dermabrasion involves a device that exfoliates the skin, removing the outer layer of the skin to stimulate new skin growth. With DiamondGlow dermabrasion, however, you will have a totally different experience because it uses a technologically advanced device that utilizes a diamond tip to deliver powerful results without the painful side effects of a typical dermabrasion treatment.
DiamondGlow diamond tips come in several different sizes to give you different levels of abrasion, allowing for a customized facial treatment for each patient. This, and the condition-specific SkinMedica® Pro-Infusion Serums infused onto the skin, is what makes this type of dermabrasion treatment different from all the rest.
3-Step DiamondGlow Treatment
To give you an idea of what this treatment does in a nutshell, it is this: Exfoliate. Extract. Infuse.
With the diamond-tip wand/device, your doctor of aesthetician will gently exfoliate the skin, removing the outer layer of the skin without the pain typically associated with conventional dermabrasion. Once the outer surface has been thoroughly cleansed, your provider will then target the deeper layers of the skin, still using the same diamond-tip device.
After exfoliating the skin, your provider will then extract dirt and debris from your pores by utilizing the suction part of the device. This gentle extraction process removes deep-seated dirt and debris from the skin and pores to get the skin primed and ready to receive the condition-specific SkinMedica® serum.
Once exfoliation and extraction are done, your provider will then proceed with the last step of the DiamondGlow treatment. The serum used on you will be based on your specific need.
