Nowadays, women and men can easily address whatever it is they’re unhappy with in terms of their appearance, particularly the face. The issue for most is not how or where to access these treatments, but whether to go the surgical route or take the alternate noninvasive route. Luckily, with Emface, patients won’t need to remain indecisive. For a natural-looking lift without surgery, the Emface procedure fits the bill.
Is Emface right for you?
If you are dealing with lines on the forehead, wrinkles around the eyes, nasolabial folds, and/or drooping eyebrows, then Emface could be the right treatment for you.
Patients are reminded, however, that although the treatment is safe, noninvasive, and non-surgical, not everyone is eligible for the procedure. Your doctor may ask you to delay treatment if you are pregnant or lactating. Or your request for this treatment could be turned down if you have a medical condition and are taking regular medication for it, you have facial piercings or metal implants, you have sensitive skin, are currently dealing with a skin condition, or you’ve recently had dermal fillers.
In some cases, your doctor will simply schedule treatment for a later date, when conditions are favorable. But in the event that your doctor advises against an Emface treatment, they may recommend other treatments that are more fitting for your skin condition.
How is the natural-looking lift achieved?
The Emface device utilizes two types of energies: synchronized radiofrequency (RF) and high intensity facial electromagnetic stimulation (HIFES). RF energy targets the dermal and subdermal layers of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production, two naturally occurring proteins in the body that are responsible for your skin’s health. When new collagen and elastin are produced, your skin will look fresher and younger. You will have a glow about you that people will notice.
HIFES energy, on the other hand, targets the muscle and tissue group underneath the skin, causing these muscles to contract. This action restores the tone of the facial muscles and subsequently gives your skin a “lift.” It can lift the eyebrows and lift the cheeks.
The best part about this Emface treatment is that results can last up to one year, sometimes longer for other patients, depending on your skin care routine and lifestyle.
